This Portwest EV4 lightweight jacket is made from 100% polyester and combines low weight with protective features. As a waterproof jacket, it has taped seams, a 20,000 mm water column and waterproof zips. The material is also specified as breathable, windproof, durable and UV protective. Breathability is stated as 15,000 MVP.

When the jacket is worn, the full-length zip runs along the entire front, while the high collar and attached hood provide coverage around the upper body. Ergonomically shaped elbows are incorporated into the fit, and the extended back provides increased comfort. The side pockets and chest pockets all have zips, allowing contents to be stored in closed pockets.
