The material is polyester with polyurethane, and with a water column of 11,000 mm as well as welded seams, the construction is designed to keep moisture out. The jacket is lined, so it also works as a winter jacket when temperatures drop.

The practical focus is evident in the details: A concealed hood is stored in the collar, and both the hood and hem can be adjusted to tailor the fit. The high collar and storm flap with Velcro cover the full-length zipper, while the sleeve width can be tightened with Velcro to seal at the wrist.
