Dovre baselayer sweater with merino wool

Dovre baselayer top in merino wool

This baselayer top from Dovre is made from wool and is designed as the layer worn closest to the body. When the day starts and you put it on as your first layer, it’s all about maintaining steady comfort against the skin. The top has long sleeves and a crew neck, giving it a classic, simple fit under other layers.

The merino wool material provides several functional benefits in use. The top is moisture-absorbing and breathable, which helps manage moisture when you’re on the move. At the same time, it is temperature-regulating, so it can help maintain a more even level of warmth. The wool is also odour-inhibiting and antibacterial, which can be practical during extended wear. In addition, the top is dirt-repellent, meaning it can often look presentable for longer between washes.
