This Deerhunter Approach jacket combines wind- and water-repellent properties with breathability in a functional model made from 100% polyester. The jacket features 2-way stretch, providing freedom of movement in the material, while the stated water column rating of 3,000 mm and breathability rating of 3,000 MVP describe the material's properties. The high collar and chin guard at the zip provide a neat closure around the neck.

A full-length 2-way zip makes it possible to adjust the opening from both the top and bottom. Underarm ventilation zips can be opened as needed. The ergonomically pre-shaped elbows follow the shape of the sleeves, and the sleeve width is adjusted with Velcro. At the bottom, the fit can be adjusted with a drawstring in the hem.

The Deerhunter Approach jacket is equipped with side pockets and chest pockets, all with zips to keep the contents securely enclosed. A radio pocket also provides a separate place for a radio.
